These original creations are designed and letterpress printed by Hammerpress in their studio and retail space in the Crossroads neighborhood of Kansas City, where visitors can peer into a print shop, hear presses clanking and take in the nostalgic scent of print and paper. Letterpressing is a relief printing technique using metal or wood type that is inked and pressed against paper to create a very distinctive look.
